Do I have to be home when you clean?

We do not require you to be home at the time of your cleaning. You can rest assured knowing that we are licensed, bonded, and insured. All of our technicians go through a thorough drug and background screening before they are allowed in your home. Overall we want you to be comfortable and trust us to take care of the cleaning. Feel free to step out and enjoy the time you are saving.

What should we do with our pets during house cleaning visits?

All of our technicians are pet friendly. As long as your furry family member is okay with people being in the home, their usual routine is okay.

Will my appointment always be on the same day and time?

Your service day will stay the same unless you request to change it. Our service operates on a weekly, every two-week, or every four-week frequency. So, for example, if you book an every four-week cleaning starting on Tuesday the 11th, your cleaning day will be Tuesday and will be every four weeks from the 11th. As for the time of your cleaning, we have two main arrival windows. Our first appointment of the day has an arrival window between 8:30-9:30 and is an additional $25 to guarantee that time. Our second appointment has an arrival window of 10-2 and really depends on when your technician finishes their first appointment. We can note your preferences as far as your time, but the only guaranteed time we can provide is the first appointments of the day.

Will I always have the same house cleaning technician?

If you have a technician that you really like, let us know! We can set them as your preferred technician and will do our absolute best to ensure you are scheduled with them. The more frequent your service, the more consistently you will see the same technician. If you have weekly service you will see the same technician on 80% or more of your visits, with less frequent visits. Maintaining your schedule and not skipping or moving days is also important to provide you with a consistent cleaning technician. We use technology to match your preferences and try to give you the same technicians consistently. However, our techs will have up to 17 paid days off per year so they can rest and recharge.

What if I need to reschedule a house cleaning visit?

That’s not a problem. If you need to reschedule your cleaning, we ask that you please reach out to us by call, text, or email and we would be happy to get you rescheduled! You will get your first reminder of your cleaning visit up to a week in advance. Please let us know as soon as possible.

How often should I have my home cleaned?

Our happiest customers have their homes cleaned at least every two weeks so they don’t have to do any maintenance cleaning in-between visits. What cleaning supplies do you use? Do I need to provide anything?

We provide all of the necessary supplies, all you need to provide is the space to clean! We use all-natural cleaning solutions, which are safe for wood, granite, tile, and most other surfaces. For liability reasons, our technicians are not allowed to use any products they did not bring with them into the home.

How do I prepare for a cleaning visit?

The best way to prepare for your upcoming cleaning would be to put away or contain any general clutter. For example, if you have a pile of clothes on the floor, we ask that you put them into a clothes basket so our technicians can move it around and clean the floor beneath. Any uncontained clutter will be cleaned around to the best of our ability. The more clear and unobstructed the surfaces are, the more we can clean.

Should I hire a professional house cleaning company or an individual cleaner?

To sum things up, for most people, a house cleaning company is going to provide much more flexibility, long term consistency, and protection against hidden costs like taxes and insurance, and reduced liability. But for households that have larger weekly budgets for cleaning, have the ability to manage household staff and are comfortable with the added legal and tax complexity, and want additional services like laundry and dishes, an individual house cleaner might be the best bet.
